Please join us to celebrate local author Susan Shillinglaw and her new book, “Steinbeck’s Landscapes” at the East of Eden & Engines Car Show at the Railroad Station in Downtown Salinas! We start with a free East of Eden Audiobook Walk at 9am and then begin the festivities with the author. Please join us in support of the Steinbeck House – bid on our “Ultimate Steinbeck Experience” auction items and/or buy a copy of Susan’s book – 20% of all sales go to fund the programs of  Steinbeck’s boyhood home.  Hope to see you at the event – it’s free!

It’s a party and you’re invited to celebrate the release of author Kay Smith-Blum’s debut novel, TANGLES! Please join us for this free event and get your copy autographed.
Live music, delish hors d’ouvres, and a sneak peak inside the pages through the author’s lens round out our informal soirée . Live stream interview and reading at 7:15pm

Local authors Gary Karnes, Karen Araujo, and Juan Martinez are celebrating their book, “Voices of Change”, an oral history of social justice featuring 60 interviews with unionists and activists on March 29th, 2019 beginning at 5pm. You are invited to join us for a wine and cheese reception, selected readings, and book signings! Fun evening planned and we look forward to seeing you there!
